H A L L O W E E N.
Halloween is an annual celebration celebrated on October 31st in the most of the English –speaking countries like United Sates, England, Australia, etc.
The most common activities people do in Halloween are: to wear costumes, have parties, watch horror movies, decorate their houses, wear scary mask and costumes (to make the spirits go away), etc. Children dress up as witches, vampires, ghosts, but also heroes; and they go from house to house asking for candies or a horror trick (like to scare them with horror decorations, monsters, etc.), they say: “trick or treat” when the doors from the houses are opened.
Typical symbols of Halloween are: spiders, black cats, witches, mommies, ghost and pumpkins (big orange vegetables). People use pumpkins to decorate their houses and also they can be used to make lanterns.
