Halloween is an annual
celebration celebrated on October 31st in the most of the English
–speaking countries like United Sates, England, Australia, etc.
The most common
activities people do in Halloween are: to wear costumes, have parties, watch
horror movies, decorate their houses, wear scary mask and costumes (to make the
spirits go away), etc. Children dress up as witches, vampires, ghosts, but also
heroes; and they go from house to house asking for candies or a horror trick
(like to scare them with horror decorations, monsters, etc.), they say: “trick
or treat” when the doors from the houses are opened.
Typical symbols of
Halloween are: spiders, black cats, witches, mommies, ghost and pumpkins (big
orange vegetables). People use pumpkins to decorate their houses and also they
can be used to make lanterns.
