Present Continuous
El presente continuo
¿Para qué se usa?
Para describir acciones que están ocurriendo en este momento, es decir, en el momento en el que se está hablando.
¿Cómo se forma?
Con el verbo to be en presente simple (amisare) más el verbo principal en gerundio (terminado en –ing). La regla de oro es que el 99 % de las veces que lo usamos, contraemos al hablar. Es decir, usamos una forma corta.
Reglas para añadir -ing al verbo principal

Regla general (la mayoría de los verbos)
Añaden: -ing
Wear →wearing  (usar- usando)
drink →drinking (beber- bebiendo)
play →playing(jugar- jugando)
Los verbos terminados en: -e
Se quita la -e y se añade: -ing
dance → dancing  (bailar- bailando)
have →having (tener- teniendo)
make → making (hacer- haciendo)
Los verbos terminados en: consonante + vocal + consonante
Doblan la última consonante y se añade: -ing
run  →running (correr-corriendo)
 sit → sitting (sentar- sentando)
 swim →swimming (nadar- nadando)

Recuerda que It es para animales u objetos.
