Hello, Friends!
I am Linda and I’m 16 years old. I am from Ireland, Today I’m writing about the things that I like and thing that I don’t like.
It isn’t easy because there are too many things that I like and some things that I don’t like. That’s why I am going to write about  three  or four topics.

Entertainment
I really like listening to music, I like different types of music but I love electronic music, my favorite DJ’s are Robin Schulz and  Calvin Harris.
I also like watching TV and movies. I like drama movies and sitcoms such as two and half men and the Bing Bang Theory. Sometimes I like to go out with my school friends.  We go to the movie theater and the mall.

Food
First, let’s talk about food and drinks. I don’t like fish very much, but I like meat. I love fast food such as pizza, hamburgers and french fries but my favorite snacks are pizza and hamburgers.
Pizza is delicious with coke, but I prefer lemonade and orange juice than coke.
I also like white coffee. I hate alcoholic drinks! I like apples and I love oranges!  I’m not a fan of vegetables, but my parents and teachers say they’re very important. I think they’re right.
I really hate broccoli, but carrots are ok. I don’t like cucumber salad, but I like mixed salad  I love mushrooms, but I really don’t like onions.

School Subjects
I love playing with my friends in the playground. I don’t like History very much and I hate Maths lessons! Anyway, I like Gym and Art, but I prefer Science because I love animals.
I really like Music and I love Portuguese lessons, but my favorite subject is English, of course!

To talk about likes and dislikes of another person, we add -s to the verb like, love and hate.. Para platicar sobre los gustos y disgustos de otra persona le agregamos una -s al verbo like: likes, loves y hates.

He/She/ It likes (a él le gusta/ a ella le gusta/ a eso -cosas o animales- le gusta)
He/She/ It loves (él ama/ ella ama/  -cosas o animales- ama)
He/She/ It hates (él odia/ ella odia/ a eso -cosas o animales- odia)

Roberto likes watching TV
A Roberto le gusta ver televisión
She loves chatting with her friends.
A ella le encanta chatear con sus amigos.
The dog likes playing the ball.
Al perro le gusta jugar la pelota

Si la oración es negativa utilizamos doesn’t like. (no le gusta)

Linda doesn’t like fish (A Linda no le gusta el pescado)

LIKES AND DISLIKES

Hello, my name is Lisa. I am 28 and I am single. I live with my boyfriend in a nice little house in Liverpool. I am a shop assistant and I study Spanish in the evenings. I don’t like staying at home at weekends because it is boring. I like playing basketball and going out on Saturdays. I love going to the cinema and the theatre. I also like listening to music and dancing. My favourite bands are The Beatles and U2.  I hate getting up early, but it is necessary to work. I don’t like watching TV very much, but I love watching basketball matches. Finally, I like travelling and I’d love to travel to Spain some day.

ACTIVITY 10. Project. On a cardboard write your likes and dislikes (activity 9) and paste a picture o draw something related to the sentences and the correct face.. Divide it in four parts.

Proyecto. En una cartulina escribe tus gustos (actividad 9), pega un imagen o dibúja algo relacionado con la oración y la carita correspondiente. Divide la cartulina en 4 partes para escribir la información y los dibujos.
